Voices of Women MK (VOWMK)

Voices of Women, Milton Keynes (VOWMK) was formed in 2020 as a network of women’s organisations to champion women’s voices to bring about change. It is led by the Milton Keynes Fawcett Group and Community Action: MK. 

Conceived of as a Virtual Women’s Centre, it aims to become an online resource for information about women’s services and policy relating to women, a hub for gathering statistical and lived experience data relating to women and girls in Milton Keynes, and an easily accessible signpost for local groups, services and activities.

VOWMK publishes a monthly newsletter, highlighting news, events, information from other local newsletters, and consultations or petitions that are likely to appeal to women. Each month we invite members of the community to take the Megaphone and write an opinion piece. 

VOWMK leads the organistion of the annual White Ribbon and Orange The World Vigil held at the Milton Keynes Rose each 25 November.
